New York City Students Kicked Out of School to Make Way for Migrants
Even Elon Musk has Eyes on the NYC Migrant Crisis

Students at James Madison High School in South Brooklyn were ordered to learn remotely and stay away from their own school on Wednesday, as the City took in 2,000 migrants who were evacuated from their tent shelter at Floyd Bennett Field due to heavy rain and wind.
Underreported, the students’ winter dance which was scheduled for the same day is also postponed “until further notice.”
So not only are migrant children pouring into our already over-burdened education system, American children are being displaced to prioritize adult migrants. It seems New Yorkers always come last in progressive-controlled New York.
As the New York Times wrote:
The evacuation led officials to call a remote day of classes for the more than 3,400 students enrolled at the high school, sparking immediate backlash from politicians and parents that echoed on a national stage. Local elected leaders, right-leaning media personalities and even Elon Musk, the tech billionaire, weighed in to criticize the government response.
The outrage was the latest political eruption over the tens of thousands of migrants crossing the southern border in recent months. Republicans have attacked Democrats over how they are managing a crisis that has overwhelmed government agencies.
The blowup over the high school occurred in Midwood, a conservative pocket of southern Brooklyn where tension over the migrants’ presence was already high. The high school received a “torrent of hate calls and even a bomb threat,” city officials said at a press briefing on Wednesday afternoon.
The framing the Times uses here is somewhat subtle, but still apparent to those who are literate in mainstream media manipulation. The implication here is that parents’ outrage is based on political lines, not that they simply don’t want foreigners prioritized over their own children. And because it’s political, because there’s a bomb threat involved (probably from crazy right-wingers), and because even Elon Musk chimed in, it’s invalid criticism in the eyes of the left-wing gatekeepers.
This kind of framing from the Times — and from Open Border activists, in general — is meant to discredit any criticism of this obviously insane open-door policy as “bigoted,” “xenophobic,” and, of course, “white supremacist.”
The move marks yet another escalation in the ongoing war against New Yorkers. The City, in spite of Mayor Adams’ lukewarm criticism of the Biden administration, has no choice but to double down on their support for the ‘migrants,’ which, again, is a misnomer: they are illegal immigrants.
They are scattered throughout the city and state, well-embedded, and likely hard to track. They are knocking on doors, creating new hot spots of crime, and are driving sex trafficking.

Elon Musk re-shared a video of the migrant move in New York, continuing his incisive commentary on the national crisis. Soon, he said, “they will come for your homes.”
With this latest move, the City had to have known that displacing students would generate a storm of bad press. It’s likely that they don’t care about the criticism at this point. It’s also likely that there are simply no alternative spaces that can house thousands of people at a time.
At this rate, the City will run itself into the ground either by letting them all go homeless and further flooding our streets, or it will be forced to use spaces and resources allocated for New Yorkers — whether we like it or not.
Some are speculating that the next step will involve the City compelling commercial and private property owners to somehow hand over unused spaces to house migrants. This would be a grim prospect, but unless we start mass deportations, it’s hard to see how we would avoid such a situation once we run out of publicly owned space.
As much as one can try to empathize with their plight, this is shaping up to be communism imposed onto New Yorkers. The City, led by many openly self-admitted socialists in the Council, is certainly flirting with that line by freely handing over public spaces to illegal immigrants. The inclusion of private property into that equation raises the hammer and sickle flag higher than our Stars and Stripes.
I hope everyone is ready for that reality and all it entails, including the urgency with which New Yorkers will need to fight to reclaim our own city and state.
More than 300 arrested in pro-Palestinian protests blocking NYC bridges, Holland Tunnel (The Hill)

The New York Police Department (NYPD) said Monday it arrested 325 pro-Palestinian protesters blocking three bridges in the New York area, as well as the Holland Tunnel.
NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said demonstrators began blocking the structures at 9:40 a.m., and that by 11:15 a.m. the NYPD and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey made the arrests and successfully cleared the locations.
The protesters gathered at the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, the Williamsburg Bridge and the Holland Tunnel on Monday morning, holding signs that said “lift the siege on Gaza” and “end the occupation.” City officials were present on the scene to clear the path for traffic.
As is worth repeating: we don’t take sides in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It’s a centuries-old blood feud that Americans should stay out of. That said, the New York cadre of pro-Palestinian protestors are doing no favors for their movement. The last thing that would get New Yorkers on your side is causing more traffic. I can’t think of a worse way to engage in “civil disobedience.”

Several men arrested after dispute over secret tunnel in Brooklyn synagogue (The Guardian)

A group of men belonging to a Hasidic Jewish community in New York were arrested on Monday amid a dispute over an illegal tunnel secretly dug into the side of a historic synagogue, which has since been closed.
Action by law enforcement after the tunnel came to light led to a brawl between police and those who had created the passageway and wanted it to remain.
The Chabad-Lubavitch world headquarters, located in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood in New York City, was in chaos on Tuesday as Jewish leaders and police faced off against what Rabbi Motti Seligson, a spokesperson for the Chabad, called a “group of extremist students”. […]
The reason for the tunnel’s creation remains undisclosed.
It’s only week two of the new year and the weirdness is only just getting started. What were these secret tunnels for? Some young Hasids just fooling around? Human trafficking? An illicit bagel-smuggling operation? Who knows.
Gov. Hochul eyes removal of ‘offensive art’ of Native Americans from NY Capitol (NY Post)
![](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/w_1456,c_limit,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F983a351f-e0d7-428a-8d38-6b0029a026a2_878x587.png)
Gov. Kathy Hochul inserted herself into a culture clash Tuesday, saying she’s considering banishing artwork of Native Americans in the state Capitol building that is deemed offensive to tribal people.
Hochul’s push to remove negative depictions of Native Americans in artwork comes amid the ongoing campaign to remove statues of explorer Christopher Columbus from the public square or government buildings over his treatment of indigenous people. […]
Tribal activists praised Hochul for tackling the negative portrayals of Native Americans.
JC Seneca, a counselor with the Seneca Nation, said he was disgusted after seeing the panel boasting that Champlain killed the first tribesman.
Kathy Hochul once again seems more concerned about virtue signaling than actual governance. Well, actually, considering her authoritarian bent, maybe that’s a good thing. Here are my questions in response to critics of colonialism:
Are the immigrants of the world who came to America complicit in displacing the indigenous people? Or is it just Europeans who are the bad guys because they did the dirty work of settling the land to make way for the rest who followed after them?
If you really take issue with colonialism, I encourage you to give up up your land, estate, and whatever resources acquired on “stolen land,” and give it back to the natives, and return to your own nation, as well. What… no takers?
